Ohio Hospital Association Announces 2024 Board Members

The Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) has announced its new officers and other members for its Board of Trustees for 2024. OHA represents 248 hospitals and 15 health systems in Ohio.

OHA membership elected Patricia “Patti” Finn, MBA, CEO of Fulton County Health Center (FCHC) in Wauseon, as chair of the board. Finn began her health care career with FCHC in 1983 and has led many departments across both clinical and operational sides of the facility, and also serves as the president and CEO of FCHC Medical Care, LLC and FCHC Pharm.

Finn joined the OHA Board of Trustees in 2016 and has served on the board’s executive committee, nominating committee and is a past chair of OHA’s Small and Rural Committee.

"I am honored and privileged to serve on the OHA board with a great group of other healthcare administrators that have the health and wellness of Ohio residents as their primary goal,” said Finn.

T. Clifford “Cliff” Deveny, MD, president and CEO of Summa Health (Akron), will be chair-elect of the OHA Board of Trustees. David Phillips, MBA, president and CEO of WVU Medicine - Barnesville Hospital (Barnesville) and WVU Medicine - Harrison Community Hospital (Cadiz) will serve as secretary/treasurer. Michael Canady, MBA, FACHE, MD, CEO of Holzer Health System (Gallipolis), will serve as immediate past chair. Board leaders serve one-year terms.

New trustees-at-large selected by OHA membership include Mike Riordan, president and CEO, Premier Health (Dayton) and Alicia Steed, Ed.D., MBA, RN, FACHE, president and CEO of MetroHealth (Cleveland).

Trustees-at-large who were re-elected to new three-year terms include Jeffrey Graham, MBA, president and CEO, Adena Health (Chillicothe); Matthew Grimshaw, MBA, president and CEO, Trinity Health Systems (Steubenville); Lisa Klenke, MBA, RN, CEO of Mercer Health (Coldwater); and Stephen Markovich, MD, MBA, president and CEO of OhioHealth (Columbus).

Returning trustees for 2024 include the following:

-Mark Clement, president and CEO, TriHealth (Cincinnati)

-Deborah Feldman, MPA, president and CEO, Dayton Children's Hospital (Dayton)

-Ben Gill, MBA, president and CEO, Southern Ohio Medical Center (Portsmouth)

-John “Jack” Janoso Jr., MBA, president and CEO, Fairfield Medical Center (Lancaster)

-Don Kline, MBA, COO, Bon Secours Mercy Health (Lima)

-Lorraine Lutton, MBA, president and CEO, Mount Carmel Health System (Columbus)

-Don Malone, MD, executive vice president Northeast Ohio Market, Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland)

-Cliff Megerian, MD, FACS, CEO, University Hospitals (Cleveland)

-Matthew Perry, president and CEO, Genesis HealthCare System (Zanesville)

The OHA Board includes representatives from small and large hospitals, urban and rural hospitals, teaching facilities and independent facilities and health care systems.
